The focus on Easter Sunday was the Resurrection of our Savior as people gathered for the Spanish service at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. This was also the setting for the presentation of the $11,060 check which is the final grant to be paid for this 2022-24 biennium. Pictured are LuAnn Roman, VP of Special Focus Ministries and Mission Grants, Pastor David Blas who serves Sheboygan County in Hispanic Outreach and Javier Zavarce, Board President. It was explained that these funds are to be used to expand the message of Hispanic Outreach in Sheboygan County through the use of recorded media. This, in turn, is designed to create a base of support that goes beyond the worshiping community so that the ministry may continue to flourish. Adult confirmations, baptisms, weekly worship serving people of another language is an energetic, vital outreach to those being served, thanks to God’s abundant blessings and the dedicated work of those in Sheboygan County and the South Wisconsin District. Join LWML in prayer that these funds will lead to the desired outcome of increased knowledge of this ministry and the financial and prayer support to allow this to expand and be an example for others.
